Xbox One S no longer working

About a month ago I was playing on my Xbox and decided to take a break for a couple of hours. When I came back to play, the Xbox powered on, but there was no display and the controllers can’t connect to it. I can’t even sync my controllers. The console powers on, but that’s as far as it makes it. I can hear the fan rotating and the air comes out of the top like usual. It hasn’t been dropped or misused—it’s always been well taken care of. Nothing was spilled on it or anything. I can’t find answers anywhere. The controllers have always been well taken care of as well. It was literally working one minute and then it wasn’t the next.

I’ve tried plugging it into the wall and into a power strip. I’ve tried using a different HDMI cord. I’ve even tried plugging it into a different TV.

Does it need to be serviced? If so, how do I go about getting it serviced and getting a price?

Is there something I can do that may fix the issue?

Replacing the console entirely isn’t really an option. I don’t have the money to throw into a brand new console.

Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

We will be resetting your console and keeping your games and apps through the Xbox Troubleshooter page. If this didn't work, yes, the console needs to be repaired. In this case, we just need to reset your console keeping your games and apps through the Xbox Troubleshooter page. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, and games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Make sure to follow the steps accordingly to access it:

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

4. Press and hold the Pair button and the Eject button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

5. Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

When the console powers up, you will see the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. Please click on "Reset this Xbox" then "Reset and keep my games and apps".

You will need a Kinect Adapter for the Xbox One S (which will also work with the Xbox One X). Unfortunately, Microsoft no longer manufactures the adapter, and they are becoming rather expensive and difficult to find.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

If that doesn't help I suggest trying one of the headset adapters. Others have reported that is resolves a number of headset issues. I use one and I have never had an issue with my headsets.

3. power cycle:

4. Clear mac adress:

go to settings>Disk and Blu-ray>Persistent Storage>Clear
it 3 times>Back
to Settings>Network>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC
Address>Clear>And
then reboot console
when prompted.

5. remove and add the account. you need your Login Information.

6. make a factory reset with the Option to Keep your data
