    Xbox One S no longer supporting HDR10


    My Xbox One S has been displaying HDR10 perfectly until today. I've changed nothing, but in the settings it says my TV is not compatible with HDR10, but I know it is, as it was using it perfectly yesterday, but today it just stopped. I have changed HDMI
    cables and ports, but it still says that my TV is not compatible. My TV is an Onn. Roku TV 100005844.

    Xbox One S only supports HDR10 for HDR content, and not the competing Dolby Vision standard. It looks like your TV supports the DV standard...

    What is HDR10+? Is it a lot better than normal HDR10?
    HDR10+ is similar to Dolby Vision in support for dynamic metadata for scenes in games, movies and TV producing an image that is more vivid and detailed like the directors and designers intended. It's an upgrade from the industry standard HDR10 and doesn't have
    royalties to pay for its use in movies, TV and games. It WILL be the new mainstream standard in my opinion very soon. Hope this helps! I hope also that Xbox One X and S have support for HDR10+ very soon! Keep asking for it everyone! :)
