Xbox one s no button beep, light powers on, no video or sound.

Not to overwrite what Brad wrote, which is a great step, to solving the problem.

Still I have to ask, did you try using a new hdmi cord. This has happened to me in the pass, and switching to a new stronger cord was the answer, the first I had was a cheap one, no visual damage, stopped working after 6 months.

I have tried new cords, pressing sync and power and holding sync. That's the only time I get a beep. Also when I press the power to turn it off the led does go out, however, I have noticed that it makes a noise from the processor area and I have taken
a video.

May be worth trying the following steps to reset the xbox s video settings.

1. If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.
3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep.
   DO NOT LET GO until the second beep occurs.

Observation. If you have an Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, you will need to keep both the Xbox button and the Link button, as the console does not have an Eject button.
