    Xbox One S networking issues(like all the others)


    I'm having the same networking issues as many other S owners. Constantly slow connection and regular disconnecting from both my profile and XBL. Not expecting any troubleshooting tips because I've tried them all. Waiting for a dry day to crawl underneath
    the house to install ethernet in my living room, even though every other wireless device I own works just fine. I "upgraded" to the S and already sold my friend my old Xbox One so I'm past the point of no return. I really hope MS can roll out an update that
    fixes this.

    Just wanted to thrown my plea in with the countless others. How is this still a thing so long after release?

    Hi so im new and I need some help with my XboxOne

    Honestly, that doesn't sound good. If your Xbox was connected before to the same router and now doesn't want to connect, that sounds like it could be but not necessarily an issue with the network card inside the Xbox. Does your Xbox recognize any other networks?

    Hey there Noah FTW,

    Sorry to hear about the network performance. Let's check a few things to narrow this down.

    Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

    • Download Speed
    • Upload Speed
    • Latency
    • Packet Loss %
    • Wireless Strength (if applicable)
    • Modem Manufacturer
    • Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number
    • NAT Type
    Let's then have you try to do a Network power cycle, to see if it helps.

    • Start by powering off and unplugging your Modem, Router (if applicable) and Xbox One console.
    • After 60 seconds of the devices being powered off, turn on the power to your Modem and then the Router (if applicable).
    • Wait another 60 seconds for the network equipment to turn on and gain the proper signals from your ISP. Then turn on your Xbox One console.

    That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!

    Trouble with xbox live connection... Disconnecting every 10-20 minuites

    The consoles are on the same network. One is my brother''s and the other mine. xbox live appears to work with just one xbox on the network and the other disconnecting. This shouldnt happen because our old internet was about 10 times slower than our one now.
    And we could get online with both xbox''s with no issue

    Our internet is also a Web Only plan. Could that have some effect on it?

    Had to hard reset the Xbox one x for my network signals to appear?

    I had similar wi-fi/network recognition problems across multiple Xbox One S consoles. Would also get randomly kicked off of Live with frequent disconnects. Ended up returning those Xbox One S consoles and haven't bought an Xbox since.

    was hoping this issue would be resolved with the Xbox One X, but it looks like that's not the case. Guess I'll be holding off on getting the X for awhile now. :(

    and it's so weird, because as other posters here have said, other devices can connect to the same network with no problems.

    I'm on the east coast and have Cox. For the past month my upload speed barely hits 3 when it was normally above 10 consistently only on my Xbox. What can I do?

    Thanks for the advice it's just that all my other devices on the network whether it be wifi or hardwired are all getting 10+ Mb/s consistently at the same time that my two hardwired Xbox wont break 3 Mb/s and has been consistently like that at any time
    of day for almost a month. It seems like my ISP and Xbox servers arent interacting well which is why I was curious if others maybe in the same area or with same ISP were experiencing the same issues.
