XBox One S Networking issue? Video included

Just purchased a new Xbox one S 6 days ago and been having some weird networking issues. Console will not connect to Xbox live 80% of the time. This is my second one Xbox one.

Can anyone confirm that this happens to them too? Check out the video below.

This is a network connection and not wireless.

 

I believe I'm having the same issue with my Xbox One S. Wired connection keeps disconnecting. Do not know when the issue first started as I was away for a few weeks. I've tried a reset, box had issues connecting to wireless network until I did a cold restart.

Sorry to hear about the wired disconnection trouble. To kick things off, have you tested a different Ethernet cable with your console to see if there is any change in your connection?

 

I believe this is an issue a good amount of Xbox One S owners are experiencing as I am myself. Sometimes I have my network drop on my Xbox. Sometimes battlefield is unplayable due to ingame lag. Only way around it was to hard reset the xbox a couple of times.
Fixed it for me for a little while (brought my connection speed back up to approx. 22mbps from the 5 mbps). What I have heard is that it is a driver issue plaguing the new consoles. The Microsoft engineering team is apparently aware of it and quickly working
to find a fix.

 

I have tested all available solutions. My Xbox One S was replaced by support, they had me take it to a Microsoft Store and they swapped it out. After re-downloading everything, still having the same issue. After a few updates, it seems the green indicator
has changed to orange and seems to be functioning better.
