Xbox One S network issues

Hello everyone,

Since I changed my fat Xbox One to the S model I keep getting intermitent network issues. Here's a couple of examples:

- Playing the division, game keeps lagging randomly has if I had an excessive ping for a couple of seconds then comes back. Happens randomly but at least once every 10 minutes

- Playing the youtube app, randomly the video stop and the app signs me out (even when the dashboard says I'm still connected).

-Playing movies with Plex, the videos randomly stop because no network was found then immediatly comes back

-Playing Twitch channels, same thing, random message about no network connection then it comes back.

-Random disonnects when playing Gears 4 multi and got a couple of short hangs in coop couch also (saying that my connection to gears servers was lost)

I tried a couple of things like changing the port in my router, changing the cable, putting it on wireless (I get a bad connection there too but the signal strenght is low). I though my modem was the issues at first but the same apps on PS4 works fine (the
games also) and my computer doesn't show any problem either.

My connection settings are fine, NAT is open and when I do the speed tests I get the best speed (50Mbps) and also a good ping under 10ms.

The next step would be to try a bit more the wireless by moving my console around or doing a factory reset. Unless there's better ideas out there.

Actiontec c2000a multiple console support

Need help troubleshooting wifi connectivity issues with my new xbox one s. I never had issues with my original xbox one, but after purchasing my xbox one s I get signed out or disconnected daily. I'm thinking this might be due to having two xbox one consoles
on the same network, but the issues persist even if only one of them is turned on.

 

Game streaming on my new Xbox One S is pixellated

My XBOX ONE (non S) was silky smooth for Game Streaming, but my One S has severe pixellation / artifact issues.

I have 19.21.7006.00000 Xbox App on Win 10, and the latest Software on the One S.

I'm hardwired into the same Gigabit switch as the One S with my laptop, with GigE connections all round, and i've tried rebooting all parts of the network.

To check, what type of network hardware are you using to connect to Xbox Live? That may help us narrow down your trouble. Also, have you tried switching your Ethernet cable to see if there's any change with your connection?
