Xbox one s network connection issues

Have have the xbox one s in its current configuration, wireless with external HD, for almost 2 years now. As of last week started noticing disconnect issues while playing several online games. Have another xbox one and 360 in house hooked to same network,
same network transfer speeds and no issues with it. Tried swapping the xbox’s with one another and the issue is the One S.

Ive tried all the help tips I’ve found from resetting the xbox and routers, is there an issue with the network adapters in the S?

Please help, the 8 year old is almost ballistic mode.

    :)

Can't connect to Xbox live from console

    Hi Treva, I'm Ryan.

Are you experiencing the issue on Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Series X|S? Is there any specific error code/message? There have been a lot of reports related to backwards compatability issues recently.

If it's an Xbox One or Series X|S:

Xbox One S wi-fi suddenly keeps disconnecting every ~15mins (faulty wifi card?)

    Hi there Kaiwen9,

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with connecting to the network connection on the Xbox One S. I recommend to try the following article: I
need help with my Xbox One network connection
    .

If the issue persists, I recommend to try the following to help isolate the issue:

    • Try connecting the Xbox to a different network to help troubleshoot the console itself. If the issue persists, then the console will need to be repaired.
    • If the console connects, this lets us know there is an issue with the network configuration. We recommend to contact the Internet Service Provider.

Give this a try and let us know the results.
