Xbox One S - missing headset.

Does anyone know why Microsoft have got rid of the headset that's usually bundled with a console not that I'm one of those that us it alot but sometimes if I'm playing online with family I do like to be able to chat to them.

Bit of a let down that they have got rid of the headset specially for the price of the console. Is it just another way for them to make consumers spend more money?

Missing headset

I bought xbox one with kinect and 4 games but the headset is missing. In manual and on cover is written that headset is included.

Console is coming in a lot less than original. No Kinect, No Headset -£150. People complained that they wanted either USB or 3.5mm jack to use their own headsets, people did not want Kinect. Get rid and drop price MS makes M$ again

Still cannot understand why gamers could not get their head round the "One" idea. I use the Xbox One as it was meant to be used having Kinect do all the TV, Video stuff etc. by voice. So much easier than multiple controls foTV, Blu-Ray, DVD, Cable, Sky
and the TV guide is quite usefull as is quickly snapping an App, recording a clip, screenshot even in the middle of a online battle, no stopping to press X the Y or whatever it is.

I Hope my headset will work with the S do you know if it does?

The Xbox Ones S and X are not supplied with a headset and you would need to purchase a compatible headset

MichaelAdcock1, apologies missed your reply here, my first suggestion is to go through the settings on the X and confirm they are set the same as on the One S, things that are important - Privacy/Family Settings/Check you can test the headset from the
controller settings area and make sure that the headset and controller are both unassigned, or both assigned to the same gamertag.
