Xbox one s microphone

I can hear game audio and other people talking but no one can hear me. When im in a party, the ring around my profile lights up, but still no one can hear me. When in game the microphone icon appears but it does not display that i am talking. I have tried
two different head sets, resetting my xbox, updating my controller, making sure the volume is up and mute if off. I have no idea what else to do. Thanks for your help

No, you would need microphones that would be compatible for Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S.

my xbox one s will not detect a microphone even though there is one pluged in. I have tried multiple microphones and two diferent controlers and it still doset work

have you tried resetting controller and replanting batteries

If you're on the Xbox One, One S, or One X, I believe you can hook up your Kinect to work as a microphone as well, from memory.
