Xbox one s making a electrical clicking noise when off

My xbox one slim, brand new is making a constant fast electrical clicking noise, like the sound you hear when you get a static shock. This is only when it is off and in energy saver mode. It also made this noise when i first plugged it in, so its not a bug
with energy saving mode and it is also plugged into the wall socket not a surge protector. The sound is coming from the back of the console next to the power input. Is this normal? And if anyone has the slim version can you check your console for this noise
and let me know if your console makes this noise or is silent. Thanks

Xbox one S power supply

Hello

My 2 week old xbox one S is set up to save energy, but listening closely I hear a noise typical of electrical components that are going to burn, a noise like something that fries and i'm sure that is the internal power supply. Is this the normal electrical
noise of the console when completely turned off? In the past 2 appliances with this noise inside died after 2 months

Xbox One ticking while disc is playing

My xbox one is making a buzzzing noise when I play Madden 25 in it. When using any other feature is functions fine. The buzzing noise is not as prominent as the loud disc drive clicking noises i've seen on youtube. Is anyone else experiencing this buzzing
noise?

So if you leave your Xbox One console in "Instant-On" mode, this does not happen? Have you tried to see if this happens with a different outlet in your home? Also, do you notice any performance issues with your Xbox One?

What kind of sound?,this is actually normal,i got a xbox one S too and make like a little click sounds when is off(with the insta on off),i'm aware all the xbox one "S" make this particular noise,so if your hardware runs ok you should be not be worry about

Only just noticed this occurring on my console yesterday evening, it is accompanied by a static/electric style click. Mine only appears to make itself known when the console is off using 'Instant On' mode.

Is your Xbox using that power-up method and does the noise continue when the console is in Standby?

My xbox one s makes a loud loud noise when start up it stops for about 30 sec and then comes back I try to turn it off but when the xbox is off it is louder than when it was on and now i cant use it for now sometimes i turn it on and it doesn’t make the
noise but if i turn it off then again in 1hour or 2 then it does it again.

Hello again, are you leaving it in Standby or are you doing the complete shutdown, because even in Standby it shouldn't make any noise, it can make a very low noise but you would have to put your ear against the console to hear it.
