    Xbox One S low framerate

I don't know if this is the right place to write about it, but anyways: Since i bought my Xbox One, i can't run most of my games with the highest quality/best framerate. In some games, i can't even reach 60 FPS and the graphics are really bad. My monitor
is a BenQ GL2250, and i think that the monitor is the problem, because i don't see where it can be. Anyone else has this problem or can help me fixing this?

    :)

  2. FRAMERATE LOW!

Changing the display settings won't help I'm afraid as the system isn't like a PC. If a game is designed to run at 720p, it will run at that resolution, changing to 480p just downscales the image, the game itself will continue to run at 720p internally.
    Same holds true at 1080p.

Is this the only game you are having issues with?

What happens if you try a different save point, does it have a slow frame-rate then?

Like many of Bethesda's games, Skryrim is prone to bugs, some of which may cause the game to slow down. I don't own Skyrim, but I have experienced similar issues with Oblivion and Fallout 3. The best thing to is try another save game. It's always a good
idea to create a few saves on these games to help prevent these bugs.

    FRAMERATE LOW!

Hi there, I'm not sure if lowering the HD 1080P will solve this. One step lower 1080i or 720P which is also consider HD too. That will just show graphical terms quality decrease (depending on TV)... But for the frame-rate issue, Is it by chance that your
friend has his/her Skyrim installed to the Hard Drive of the 360 and yours might be running off the disk continuously?

You obviously don't know a lot about Xbox One S's hardware. It only has a 1.75Ghz processor. It only has 8GB DDR3 RAM with a mere bandwidth of 68GB/s. Xbox One CANNOT play all games in 1080p 60fps! The hardware is too weak for that. It can only play SOME
games like Minecraft in 1080p 60fps.

However. Xbox One X will be able to play games with higher visual fidelity, when it comes out November 7. The current Xbox One and Xbox One S, is about the same performance as a Low End gaming PC to a Lower-Mid-range gaming PC. It only has DDR3 which is
a lot slower than GDDR5, and it has a slow clock speed 1.75Ghz processor. And yes, clock speeds DO MATTER. Especially for simulation games which are more CPU demanding than GPU demanding.

Xbox One (original) and Xbox One S, do have DDR3 and 1.75Ghz processor limitations. That sort of hardware can't play every game at 1080 60fps.

Xbox One X comes out November 7. Microsoft is calling it, the most powerful console ever made. Phil Spencer, Xbox E3 2017. Xbox One X can play games (perhaps not every game, but at least some), natively in 4k.

  9. Clock speed means very little if you don't have the cores to support it. A lower speed quad-core will outperform a higher clock speed dual-core for example.

Also there is a reason that PCs, even those high end gaming rigs, don't use GDDR5 as system RAM.

GDDR5 has a higher latency than DDR3 which put simply means it isn't as quick for those small background tasks, such as running an operating system for example. So while GDDR5 will help with the graphical prowess in the Xbox One X, it could end up having a
negative impact on the rest of the system.

Higher numbers aren't always better numbers.
