    Xbox One S - Lots of problems


    Having a few issue after getting the One S. I've previously had the original console & bought the S for a quieter console & 4K content streaming.

    If I turn my console on before the TV, the screen is black. Changing input, video mode etc makes no difference. Restart console & it comes on screen no problem.

    Framerate issues with a few games. Most noticeable is Forza Horizon 3. Happens from time to time & makes the game unplayable. Restart game or console & solves the problem.

    Screen flicker. Resembles watching a VCR tape (static style lines across screen, distorted picture etc). Happens a couple of times per play session. Has happened in GH Live, Horizon 3 & even browsing the dashboard.

    Has anyone else had similar issues or is my console just a dud? I've already replaced my TV under warranty trying to solve this so it's not the problem. Tried different 4K supporting HDMI cables too..

    Im going to have to call them in that case, because if i decide to turn auto renewal off, it asks me to get my parents email and pass, but i cant get them. So im screwed.

    A lot of problems with the xbox one

    Well my PC has a 1000w power supply so I don't keep it running. Faster boot times are not the only advantage. Read and Write is not even close. And I don't believe they will ever be the same price or similar. Disc's will always be cheaper per GB.

    I have had PC's that you can make yourself a cup of coffee come back and take a few sips before you put in your password. Then you put in your password and sit there for another 20 minutes waiting for it to start up all the programs and processes. I mean
    I have been down that road.

    With a SSD its like the closest you can get to a linux OS but on windows in terms of speed. Linux file system is just better. ZFS is my favorite but windows is the dominate game in town. You have to have windows to do a lot especially in work.

    SSD's are comming down in price and the speed is way faster. My PC loads in 11 seconds. I find that when you raid them its cheaper as well. I only store me OS and program files on my SSD's all documents, media, etc are relocated to my WD Velociraptor. I
    actually moved the targets to my other drive. That way my SSD is lean and mean. The read write and file transfers are amazingly fast. I have Intels Cherryville series SSD's. Intel makes the best silicon so that's where I put my money.

    Yeh, that`s all that technical stuff i was on about.

    I just say, minus 7gb for every 100gb the drive is supposed to have.

    There are way more problems than just that OP. The Party Chat system only works less than half the time. I thought this was meant for gaming and multiplayer gaming but you can't even sustain a chat with your team. This console is a joke and I will not be
    following Microsoft in the future. I mean that don't even address feedback. Not one word spoken about how messed up the console is.
