    Xbox One S loses HDMI signal every few minutes during gameplay


    I have a KS8000 and a Xbox One S. Both were only purchased 2-3 months ago. Every few minutes, the Xbox One S loses HDMI signal. I have tried switching HDMI ports and using different HDMI cables and the effects are the same. Signal loss does not occur for
    other systems I have used on the same HDMI ports, i.e. Apple TV, PS4, Wii U, etc.

    Can anyone help diagnose the issue? Thanks.

    TV loses Xbox One signal briefly

    I've got an issue where my Tv loses the Xbox One signal for a few seconds. It usually only happens once in each play session but happens every time the console is switched on, after a few minutes of use. Obviously if this happens during Forza I end up
    in a brick wall! I've checked the HDMI cables and the obvious stuff. Thoughts?

    Comcast Cable box through Xbox One

    I am attempting to run my Comcast cable box through my Xbox One with an HDMI cord but the signal keeps freezing and losing the signal every few seconds or, if I'm lucky, every few minutes. Has anyone else had this problem? Were you able to fix it?

    I've contacted Comcast a few times to have them reset the box which they've done but it hasn't helped so I'm inclined to think it's a problem with the box. I've also switched to a different HDMI cable just in case that was a problem.

    So I'm not the only one that's experiencing this. It freezes for a few seconds then go back to normal This happens during cutscenes, and during gameplay. It happens every few minutes. It's pretty annoying, to the point that I've stopped playing the game.

    ok 3 questions to help out

    one are you using a samsung TV?

    and two have you used the original AV cords that came with the xbox?

    three do you have a setting for auto off?

    I believed it worked but let me answer your questions. Not a Samsung. Was using original cords (sort of). Auto was off. So, what I was doing was swapping out the original HDMI cord with equally cheap cord. When I replaced the cord with a higher quality
    HDMI cable, the issue did not return. It's been a few days now and it still has not happened again. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Sorry to hear you are having issues. Is the console staying on but TV signal goes or is the whole console powering off? If its fully turning off then it might be worth trying a different power cord or if its plugged into an extension then plug directly.

    Sounds like this might need to go for service as you have already done a lot.
