    New kinect not working with new xbox one s (new adapter too)

    Hi i have a new xbox one s, kinect sensor & adaptor all bought this week. console works fine. Kinect Adaptor lights up ok which suggests it's working, but kinect sensor does not seem to power on when connected. Sensor also not being
    recognized by console- when i click on settings/kinect, the screen says to plug in kinect (but it's already plugged in).

    I've tried turning everything off/on, plugging kinect sensor usb into the all 3 ports on console, & nada. Thinking maybe the kinect sensor is faulty? Surely not as i only got it today?!!

    I've not seen an expiration date on any of the Support articles. I suppose it will last for as long as they keep stock of it or announce otherwise. For now there seems no risk of the adapter offer expiring.

    I had assumed that, but you can never be to careful with these offers. One minute they are there ... the next they are not.

    I guess since they aren't done releasing consoles that the offer will be on for a while.

    I have 2 Xbox one consoles and a new Xbox one S console. I would like to get the free Kinect Adapter as I am now using the Xbox one S as my primary device but I can't chat to Microsoft or open a support ticket as their system will not allow me to add my
    name to the greyed out boxes on the chat or support pages. All my details are up to date in my profile. My full name and all my details are there. I have searched the net for 3 days trying to somehow contact Microsoft to get the adapter but their magic
    is just too strong.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Phone Support to get you on the right track. Let them know what you've tried and make sure they run through the process of setting up the order with you on the phone.
