    Xbox one s Kinect


    Traded in my xbox one for the new Xbox one s only to find out I can't use my xbox one Kinect. I can buy an adapter for $40 but I think I'm taking it back and getting a PlayStation. I'm so sick of Microsoft. It's not just the money. It's the media remote
    and the Kinect and it's a huge mess. It sucks.

    Xbox one s Kinect

    That was actually made known when the S was announced. Since you upgraded, you can contact support and request a free adapter (Using Kinect Sensor | Xbox One S | Xbox One X).
    I think you do need the serial number for your previous One though.

    Are you using the Xbox 360 with Kinect, or do you have an Xbox One with Kinect 2?

    Also do you have an original Xbox One with Kinect directly connected to the console, or a Xbox One S or X with a separate Kinect Adapter to connect Kinect to your S or X console?

    If you have an external Kinect adapter for S or X consoles, what color is the light on the adapter?
