    PLEASE provide us customers with some feedback, with regards to the Xbox One S Kinect Adaptor.

    Will it soon become available?

    How much will it be?

    Have I wasted my money buying the Kinect Games, to accompany my Sons Christmas present (One ‘S’)?

    PLEASE don’t disappoint 1000’s of Customers Microsoft.

    XBOX ONE S and KINECT CYCLING ON AND OFF

    Hi

    Recently received my adaptor to use my Kinect with my new xbox one S however when all plugged in the Kinect keeps cycling on and off in around 5 second intervals - any ideas or just faulty adaptor?

    ust want to say if you got the skills and go to youtube there are video's on there, showing you how you can make up an adapter yourself. If I had seen this video's before I would have followed them rather than spend £119
    for the adapter. The parts are readily available.

    You need a 12v 1..5a powersupply

    a USB 3.0 A to B

    a female power socket for the male adapter

    Soldering skills

    torx screwdricer ts 10 I think

    you tube it.



    I know the above video is in cheq but you get the idea

    XBOX X - what about Kinect support?

    The Xbox One Kinect is no longer manufactured. You would need an Xbox One version, the 360 doesn't work on the One. You would also need an adaptor cable because the S and X do not have a dedicated Kinect connection port.

    So the answer is, it is supported, there are few games that use it and getting your hands on the kinect and cable are extremely difficult.

    Why is it so difficult to find a Kinect device for Xbox One?

    I really wish I had stocked up on the Xbox One S Kinect adaptors early on, didn't expect MS to discontinue the hardware so quickly. Unfortunately it was seen a huge flop.

    I think it's absolutely shocking Microsoft are not supplying XBOX ONE to XBOX ONE X gamers a free kinect adaptor, its disgrace borderline criminal.

    MICROSOFT FORCED EARLY ADAPTORS TO GET THE KINECT - its not the consumers fault the kinect failed so WHY are we being penalised.
