    To start, be sure your Xbox One is in an open well-ventilated area, as poor ventilation can cause your console to shut off. If you're also using a surge protector, try bypassing that and plug directly into a wall outlet. If you're still having issues, be sure

    Mine will occasionally do this, mostly when I'm about to sleep. I just power it off or leave it alone.
    Do you have it on energy saving or instant on?

    Mine does this on occasion. The only solution I know of to stop it is by unplugging it after I get off.

    But it happens so rarely that it's not an issue for me.
    Yours comes on but doesn't light up in the front or send a pictureto the tv?

    Mine does this on occasion. The only solution I know of to stop it is by unplugging it after I get off.
