Xbox One S keeps turning itself on but not lighting up in the front and no picture??

I have an Xbox One S, lately I've been noticing it turns itself on.... doesn't light up in the front button, doesn't display a picture on the TV either when it does this. The fan turns on and the hard drive makes noises. This lasts
for around 45 seconds or so then it turns itself back off..... I have very excellent hearing so I can literally hear the fan and hard drive from across the room.

It does not have a Kinect connected to it and it connects to the internet via WiFi.

I am not sure why it keeps turning itself on because I have automatic system updates and automatic game updates, etc all turned off.

Sometimes it does this 3 or 4 times an hour. Each time around 45 seconds.

The fan stays on the whole time, the light in the front doesn't turn on and it doesn't display any output on the tv any of the times it turns itself on.

This Xbox works great when I turn it on and does everything it's supposed to... the button in the front will light up and it'll load my games and connect to the internet fine and show pictures and everything on the tv. It just doesn't when it turns itself
on for whatever reason.

My question is why is it turning itself on???? I have videos and if you listen carefully you can hear the fan and the hard drive clicking towards the end of some of them.

Should I contact Microsoft, or tell them about this post?

My WiFi is wpa2 password protected, I share the house with one other person and they're asleep and this is happening.

I checked my router and it says there are 4 devices connected to the internet and I recognize all of them and know what they are... so I don't understand what is triggering it to turn on by itself.

hi. My xbox one s keeps turning itself of after a couple of seconds when i turn it on.

I have a battlefield edition Xbox one s and it keeps turning on by itself I turn I.t of and it does it again

 

Also I did not want this posted in service and account. I told it hardware, then Xbox one then support but for whatever reason it posted here anyways. Please fix it.......

 

it is waking periodically to check for updates, this requires the hdd to run and the fan comes on, if you don't want this then configure the power setting to fully turn of the xbox, this will turn off the auto updating feature so you would most likely have
to manually install game updates when starting a game.
