Xbox one s keeps scrolling down

YES i have done about a million resets.but my xbox scrolls to the bottem of whatevr is on the screen Every time i try to move it it scrolls back down or left sometimes.(i noticed that if i hold the dpad i can move around a little but after that it goes
back to scrolling down.)I have had my xbox serviced but that didnt do anything. seriously I know im not the only one who has this problem.

If you actually went into a game, for example, Call of Duty, would your character start looking down at the ground? Or does it only happen on the home screen?

BROOOOOOOOOOOOO i got it to work. After i factory reset the xbox with my controller plugged in in went back to normal!

It sounds like it could be your controller, I would try and use a different controller to see if that is actually what's wrong with it. If it is, your best bet is to try and exchange your controller if you have a warranty on it. Or look into ways to fix
controller drifting, but be careful because you could mess up your controller even more.

yo this actually worked. It only worked when i factory reset the xbox with my controller plugged in. I was about to buy a new one thanks!

well yes and no.like if i went into call of duty and joined a match my charecter would actually work fine.but if i paused the game then it would start scrolling down the pause section. Like in 2k20 when i was able to get in a game it worked fine but when
i pased or went to anything else it would scrool down the options on the screen.

it was liek whenever there was a menue with options of some kind it would scroll down. ( again sorry for my horrible spelling)
