    Xbox One S Keeps freezing, Controller wont work and Factory reset 2 times


    So I was trying to play a game (PSO2) I had played on this xbox for many weeks with no problem but today it wouldnt load PSO2 and then it froze on the green xbox screen. So I factory reset it. Then I got to the apply saved account preferences and it froze
    again, so I factory reset AGAIN. This time I allowed it to delete all my apps and games as well.

    I logged in and got to my xbox home and right away I saw problems. The home would freeze every few seconds and the only button on my controller that worked is my middle Xbox home button. Once pressed my controller buttons works but once I go back to Xbox
    home screen all my buttons stop working and only button that works is my middle xbox button.

    I have no idea what is going on but I have factory reset twice. Once while keeping games and apps and second time fully deleting everything. How could my xbox break overnight?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue.

    Try performing the hard reset exactly like this.

    Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    Im guessing you have tried hard restarts and cashe clears is there a problem that is causing you to try to factory reset

    I understand, have you performed factory reset on both consoles? If not yet, please try to perform the factory reset keep my games and apps on your Xbox One S console > then check if it works.

    If it still doesn't work, may I have the exact error message upon attempting to log in to your accounts on your Xbox One S, please?
