    XBOX One S keeps freezing and won't turn on half the time


    Hello

    For the past couple of days my Xbox One S keeps freezing, allowing me only to use the home button, while every other button on my controller appears to not work at all while this happens. Besides that, the console won't turn on half the time.

    I have looked into questions like this one and have tried the multiple solutions provided, holding the power button for a few seconds and then plugging off the cable for a few minutes, resetting the console, both keeping and not keeping the games, and although
    some times this allows it to work for a few hours with no problems, the issue ends up returning after some time.

    Is there anything else I should be trying to solve this problem, or is this something that will need to be looked into by an actual professional?

    My Xbox keeps freezing during games is an Xbox one s and every time i try to play the division or forza horizon 3 the game will freeze and the game will quit or the Xbox will turn off entirely. Im pretty annoyed with this as I cannot play my expensive games
    for more than 15 minutes.

    please help.

    Update will not process, but does download.

    can't say i ever had any problems updating, mine has always gone smooth but this one i had to keep at it over and over do to it freezing up at some point or another.

    if they spent half as much time getting us some good exclusive games than turning this thing into a cable TV box things would go much better.

    Hello, my console keeps turning off. I dont know why but it is not that hot. it turns off like its power suppy is cut. Please help
    Mine overheats (yet is barely warm) and freezes up at least once a day. It also freezes up because of bad memory management software aproximately ever 2cd day. Does Microsoft still actually have a quality control department ? Or just after sales public relations, suggesting DIY "fixes" via links? Lol.Mine is a 2 week old Xbox S. Not a Xbox One S.

    it doesn't freeze the game , the fault turns the xbox off immediately
