Xbox One S keeps doing same update

It sounds like the update may have been corrupted somehow. What I would suggest is to do a factory reset on the console. There's an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't have to redownload them and your saves will be safe on the Cloud.

That should fix the issue.

If you keep playing around with the TV settings you would have to keep changing it to watch normal TV programs. I have a feeling it is just the way the Xbox one S Blu-ray is set up unlike the 360 that allowed you to do it. Too bad they can't update the
Xbox One S to be the same way.

Firstly I am using the original Xbox, not the xbox one x or s. Secondly, I do not know if I am enrolled in the Xbox insider program and do not know how to check. Thirdly, I do not get any error codes or messages in the loop.

Fourthly, I do not have any external storage units plugged into the console. And Lastly I have not tried anything but search on google and keep on trying to update.

The cable will keep my Xbox one s controller active but the light won't come on and it isn't charging.

It sounds to me like the controller needs some kind of update to allow the old Xbox one battery.
