Xbox One S Joy Stick Drifting A Lot

Its not under warranty anymore but i should be able to get a new one because this controller is like 3 months old and after i update it it starts drifting so is there anyway i can get a new one

Unfortunately this is highly unlikely to be related to a controller update, it's more often than not a hardware problem. (small bands hold the analog module central, if they wear out they may not hold it in the optimal position)

Assuming the controller hasn't been opened internally and unscrewed, it carries a 90 day manufacturers warranty with Microsoft which you can apply for here;

If its still under warranty you can get it fixed. If not a short term option in the controller settings is to set a larger dead zone, this helps illuminate the stick drift issue shirt term.

This is a common problem on any controller though

You have something call drifting a very common fault you have 2 options.

1 try and replace the joy stick yourself

2 go and buy a xbox one s controller.

You can find cheap ones on ebay.
