    Xbox one s Is bricked, cant fix.


    Hello, my xbox one s that I've only had for about two years turns on straight to troubleshooting menu, and I cant do anything from there. Resetting or turning off just brings me back to troubleshooting, and trying to do a soft factory reset and a hard reset does the same. Cant afford to pay bill gates with a 400 dollar console or a windows pc to do an offline update. Am I (Mod Removed) by Microsoft again or is there something I can do? I've tried every solution I've seen, (thats possible,) and nothing.

    Sorry about your issue.

    Sounds to me your console has a failed hard drive. This would likely explain why the soft and hard reset hasn't worked.

    It's hard, but modern consoles are complex and can fail. Hard drives are mechanical, they all will eventually stop working. Microsoft haven't done this intentionally to get you to pay for a repair or buy a new console. The only thing you can do now is pay for a repair or buy second hand replacement or a new one.

    Bill Gates hasn't worked for Microsoft for over 10 years.

    If it's an Xbox One S or X you should be okay if it's one of the original Xbox One consoles that has the power brick then you will need to obtain a new power brick.

    If it is an Xbox One S or X then it should work as these support multi voltages. If it is the original Xbox One that has a separate power brick then you will purchase a replacement power brick.
