    Xbox One S interrupted sound with Blu Ray and Dolby TrueHD (96kHz/24bit)


    Hi,

    I'm running a Blu Ray from Artist "Pink - The truth about love" with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 (96kHz/24bit) and sound is permanently interrupted irregularily but repeatable at the same part of the songs and also repeatable between 2 different discs of the same concert.
    The normal Dolby Digital 5.1 sound with 640 kbps is running well. Also other music discs with dts and 96kHz/24 bit. Other Dolby TrueHD discs with a lower bitrate are also running well.

    My xbox one S is 3 month old updated also to Dolby Atmos and I tried all combinations of sound adjustments in the settings from Dolby Digital to bitstream, but always the same results. AV Receiver is a Denon AVR X3400H also some weeks old.

    My conclusion is, that it is not a problem of the disc because I tried two different ones from the same concert.

    What is the problem? What can i do?

    I have posted my problem first in the support section, but I didn't get any response so far.

    Your not going to get a reply/fix on these forums. Xbox bitstreaming and compatibility with receivers is not so great due to a few different factors.

    Your best option to join the Xbox insider program and report it as a bug if it still persists in the beta firmware.

    Surround Sound on TV Pass Through Still Not Working?!?!?

    Optical for audio doesn't work for me. When I watch Blu-rays and play games with better than Dolby Digital Sound (DTS-MA or Dolby TrueHD), optical can't send those.

    Anyone figured out a clever way to make surround sound pass through from their cable box work normally, or is this just a deal breaker?

    Hi guys i have just bought a dolby atmos sound bar but now the 4k blu ray says no hdr device.

    The picture is much worse as minus hdr but the sound is very decent.

    My set up is

    tv 55 sony xe90

    xbox one S

    sony ht xf9000 dolby atmos virtual surround bar and sub woofer

    + 4k blu ray.

    all cables 2.0 hdmi.

    Any ideas why now it wont play 4k blu ray in HDR?

    Atmos had been working fine, then the other I day I was halfway through a UHD movie and noticed my receiver said TrueHD instead of Amos. Afterwards, I tried turning the pass through setting off and on with no luck. Then I tried the Vudu and the Dolby app
    and both output in Atmos. Moved over to my PS4 and loaded up MI:5 blu-ray and the receiver played the Atmos perfectly. Took the same disc over to the Xbox and again I got TrueHD. I went so far as to delete and reinstall the blu-ray app with no luck. It's not
    the receiver or the cable or the disc, so it has to be the blu-ray app, right? I really hope they fix this issue pronto. I got the Xbox One S specifically for UHD/Atmos.
