Xbox one S instant on connection problem

I just bought a deep blue Xbox one s console. After setting everything up it worked flawlessly, but a few hours later I ran into a problem. I had the Xbox in instant-on mode and everytime I powered on the console after about an hour or so the Xbox would
say "connect to Xbox live". I would try but my Xbox wouldn't be able to pick up any signals whatsoever. I know it's not the Xbox itself because I exchanged it for another and it's doing the exact same thing. Please help!

New Xbox One S drops network connection when in Instant On mode

So I'm having the same issue on instant mode my xbox one s 2 Tb will drop the connection no matter what, its annoying at best! ... anyone have a solution? is the problem being addressed?

Xbox one s wired connection instant on issue

Hi can anyone help,I have just received a new Xbox one s today and on wired connection I put into instant on and every time I turn it back on it says connect to Xbox live it is disconnecting from Xbox live when in instant on,no such issues with my elite

Are you connecting to your network via Ethernet or wifi? If it's wifi, can you try connecting via Ethernet and seeing if you experience the same issue? If you do, and you've recently exchanged your console for a new one, it sounds like it's possibly a network
issue. What kind of network set-up do you have? Including your modem/router make and model.

this problem is related to the xbox one s and instant on (if you disable instant on its fine) the xbox one s has a different wireless card that the xbox one.. for this problem it shows slow speed when you do the network test...

so I got the new update today and I figured I would enable instant-on again to see if the problem was fixed. NOPE (kind of figured so) power up from sleep and got slow wireless speeds 1MB on the tests from the xbox one. disabled instant on and its fine (varies
from 60-140 or so but that's normal for wireless)..

is there anything else I should be doing to report this issue and get some kind of a bug id created for tracking????????

Same problem here,

got a new Xbox One S and after PowerON in 2 out of 10 cases it could not connect to XBOX LIVE.

I tried factory reset / instant on / energy saver / different wlan router / Insider Builds / without any results.

The xbox dont even find a wireless network, it needs several restarts.

The Problem vanishes if I connect the box with a Lan Cable.

I hope its not a hardware related issue

Sorry to hear the issue popped back up! How is your Xbox One connected to power? If it's connected to a surge protector, please ensure your console is powered off try a direct connection to the wall outlet and then set the Xbox One S back up to 'Instant
On'.
