Xbox One S Hook up to 4K LG TV issues

The problem I'm having is my xbox one S is not recognizing HDR on my TV. 10 bit color shows up, along with 4K resolution at 2160p, but no HDR for movies or games. It says here on xbox.com that different names for HDR are HDR Premium, High Dynamic Range,
HDR, UHD Color, Ultra HD Premium, Ultra HD deep color. My LG has UHD Deep Color, so why the heck doesn't it work? any one have any idea?

Can I set up a Xbox One S to all LG LED TVS?

LG HDR PRO UHD 4K is my LED TV 50 inches will the Xbox One S be able to work on this TV?

Digital Sound Output

I am not getting digital sound output through my set up.

LG 4k TV

Pioneer Elite Receiver; 7.1 capable

Pioneer Elite Receiver controls signals to the TV from other device inputs

Hook up:

Xbox One S to TV via HDMI to HDMI2

Receiver to TV via HDMI to HDMI3

TV audio to Receiver via Optical

TV audio is set to Optical

Xbox audio is set to Surround

No set-top box; using antenna for TV signals

Results:

When watching TV or my LG Blu-ray, I get Digital sound to my speakers.

When using my Xbox One, I only get Stereo output to my speakers.

I tried connecting my Xbox to the Receiver, but the Receiver does not support the 4K pass-through.

My Xbox 360 worked fine through the HDMI set-up to my receiver.

What am I missing here?

Hey there l am BATMAN!

To start things off, have you had a chance to run down the list of
Xbox One S 4K Troubleshooting yet? If not, make sure that you have all settings set correctly. There may be a few options you have enabled on your Television that is inhibiting your 4K use.

That TV doesn't seem to have any HDR capabilities. Looking at the
LG 55UB8500's Spec Sheet, there's no mention of HDR or UHD Deep Color, where as their other TV's that do support HDR have it included in their spec sheets.

The next best step I recommend taking is reaching out to LG support to double verify if the exact TV model you have supports HDR or not. So far with the info we were able to find, it doesn't seem like it does unfortunately.

I don't think so, Robin. I had an LG OLED 4K TV. And the Xbox One S was connected to to the LG TV and I used to play 4K games. Even if that's the case to play only 4K Blu Rays, it's still not supporting.
