    Xbox One S headset not working


    Hey everyone. my nephew has a xbox one s and recently started giving him trouble with his headset. No sound, no mic function. When plugged in the icon on the screen is muted. I have tried my headset and same issue. Here is what I've tried:

    Updating the controller, good.

    My headset, which works on mine, still no sound or mic.

    I did a reset keep games and apps, didnt work.

    Tried new batteries, same issue.

    Cleaned the 3.5mm port on the controller, same issue.

    Anything else I can do?

    Turtle Beach X12 headset on XBox One

    I found a headset that will work perfectly.
    www.amazon.co.uk/.../ref=sr_1_1    . Buy this headset it's not that expensive and it will work for talking with friends and listening to Game sound as well.

    Hi GilgameshRune,

    Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Xbox One and your wireless headset. Can I ask if your headset was working with your Xbox One S before you connected to the Asus monitor or is this all a new setup? I am thinking there may be a compatibility issue
    with the headset.

    Brad mentioned reaching out to the manufacturer, you may want to ask them if the headset you have is compatible with the Xbox One S in wireless mode or if you can only use the headset in wired mode connected via the headphone jack on the controller.
