XBOX ONE S & HDR

Discus and support XBOX ONE S & HDR in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have LG 55UH7700 which according to LG supports HDR but when I connect ONE S through HDMI directly to TV and check TV info on XBOX i get no support...     XBOX ONE S & HDR


    I have LG 55UH7700 which according to LG supports HDR but when I connect ONE S through HDMI directly to TV and check TV info on XBOX i get no support for HDR as per photo attached, would like to know if I'm missing something:

    A HDR game list for Xbox One S?

    Xbox One S dose support HDR, but most HDR games do not support Xbox One S.

    XBOX ONE S & HDR

    Xbox One S only supports HDR10 for HDR content, and not the competing Dolby Vision standard. It looks like your TV supports the DV standard...

    My TV supports both, HDR and Dolby, and I managed to fix it over the weekend. It turns out that this TV supports custom settings per each input with option that setting can be duplicated to all inputs, so when first go the TV, I configured one input with
    HDR disabled and I accidently propagated this setting to other inputs. Once I discovered this and re-enabled HDR for HDMI where XBOX is connected, everything is fine as shown in photo below:

    @zuluzkiller: Can you please tell me what setting you used to enable HDR? I have a UH8500 (so it is similar to yours and it also supports HDR10), but I get the same messages you did--that HDR is not supported by my TV.

    Nevermind. Found it. For anyone who might stumble across this, it was in my LG TV All Settings --> General --> HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Color menu.

    Erm........................You do realise that any game that runs on the Xbox One X also runs on the Xbox One S? And because of this, any game that is HDR on the Xbox One X is also HDR on the Xbox One S.

    So basically, any game you find that is HDR on the Xbox One X is also HDR on the Xbox One S

    Is that official?

    HDR is an "Xbox One X Enhanced" feature for those games, that's official words.

    For example Rise of the Tomb Raider, NO HDR on Xbox One S.
