Xbox One s HDMI Port with no Display.

For some reason my Xbox one s isn’t showing a Display when I connect it to my monitor. At first I thought it was my HDMI Cables but when I connected the same hdmi cable with my switch and my pc it worked but it did not work with my Xbox. the Xbox still Works. the fan Runs it turns on And even on cloud gaming it shows Display. so I decided to look more and I saw that the bottom part of the hdmi out input Is Wobbly and Far apart then the hdmi in. So I was wondering if there’s a way to fix It?

with the xbox one s stick with hdmi, even though you can set at 120hz not a single game on the one s will hit above 60fps as the console is not powerful enough.

you would need an active display port adapter to convert from hdmi for the xbox so stick with hdmi.

in settings select auto and enable vrr.

same question here. Want to connect my Xbox One S to a display port on my p2715q. Via HDMI I get only 30hz and I actually need to HDMI free for my laptop.

Any solution?

there is no way to fix it except sending it in for repair.

The HDMI port on your laptop is likely only an HDMI out, so that you can hook it up to an external TV/monitor and output its display to that.

In order to display the Series S's output on your laptop's screen, it would have to have an HDMI in port.

What's the make/model of the laptop?
