Xbox one s hdmi port issue and how its fixed.

I recommend doing is changing out the HDMI cable to make sure it isn't a cable issue. After that we can try performing a

This happen to my XBox 360 S too.

Check the TV HDMI ports. One of the port maybe no good.

Maybe try another TV in another room just to see if its the HDMI ports.

Make sure the HDMI port are on in the TV menu (sometimes its set off)

yes, Njal. That is how the xbox one S does work. But i went ahead and swapped the ports anyways, and enabled the enhanced hdmi. XBox one S still works, xbox one X does not.
