    Xbox one S Hdmi issues

Is there anyone who has had the issue and actually has a fix because I would love to get it sorted without having to send it off for repair. The night I bought the console it was working fine however the morning after my monitor kept informing me that there
was no input signal and so there was no picture. I decided to the leave the console and come back later to see if the issue would resolve itself. When I returned the consoles made a funny scratching noise when I booted to up but most importantly the picture
came up on my monitor. This was 2 days ago.

Now today when playing fifa the whole consoles froze and I was forced to turn it off as it was totally unresponsive. Since I have been able to turn it on our get no picture what so ever. Bearing in mind I only purchase it last week!

Thanks to anyone who replay to this message!

P.s its nothing to do with the hdmi lead I am using or the monitor as they both pick up my PC when turned on.

    :)

    Hi

    Please follow this
    troubleshooting guide
for 4K and HDR issues but initial check I would be is to make sure you have set the HDMI port you plug you Xbox One S into is set to 2.0 and your using the supplied HDMI lead.

Will LCD TV work with XBOX One S

    HI

If the LCD TV has a HDMI port then you can connect the Xbox One S to that and should work without any issues.

If it has been very recent since you bought the console brand new,
I'd first consider contacting your retailer about getting an exchange. If that's not possible, then keep reading below.

Some strange behavior on the console can be easily fixed by performing a
    power cycle
. Give it a go and see if it helps.

If a power cycle doesn't quite work out, then next thing to try is to

troubleshoot a blank screen with the steps outlined in this article
    .

If you have exhausted all of the possible steps in the support article above, then your last resort is to send it in for repair. You can get started on that process by going here:

    Xbox one s

    Hello EgorHomyak,

Thank you for your post. I understand you are looking to connect an HDMI 2.1 cable to an Xbox One S. Though the Xbox One S has a HDMI 1.4 connector, HDMI 2.1 is backwards compatible, meaning it will display output from your Xbox One S without issue.

    I hope this information helps.

    No signal on TV

Hi, Praveen my name is Oskayra, and will be a pleasure help you

It's understandable that you're facing this issue with your Xbox One S console not displaying a signal on the TV in Japan. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check the HDMI cable connection: Ensure the HDMI cable is firmly connected to both the Xbox One S and the TV. Disconnect and reconnect both ends of the cable to ensure a secure connection.

Try a different HDMI cable: If possible, try using a different HDMI cable to rule out any issues with the original cable.

Change HDMI input on the TV: Check the TV's input settings and ensure that you are on the correct HDMI input port connected to the Xbox One S.

Power cycle the Xbox One S: Turn off the Xbox One S completely by holding the power button for about 10 seconds until the console shuts down. Unplug the power cord for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn on the console.

Update the Xbox One S software: Ensure that the Xbox One S is running the latest software updates. Go to Settings > System > Updates and check for any available updates.

Try different HDMI ports on the TV: If your TV has multiple HDMI ports, try connecting the Xbox One S to a different HDMI port.

Check for TV compatibility issues: Check if your TV is compatible with the resolution and refresh rate settings of the Xbox One S. You can adjust these settings in the Xbox One S's video settings.

Try a different TV: If possible, try connecting the Xbox One S to a different TV to rule out any issues with your current TV.

I hope this helps! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions or need additional clarification.

Variable Refresh Rate greyed out with a AMD compatible Monitor (HP 27xq AMD FreeSync monitor)

The Xbox One X is the only console that has HDMI 2.1. Xbox One S has HDMI 2.0.
The Xbox One S and One X both use HDMI 2.0,

The Xbox One uses HDMI 1.4

The Series X will have HDMI 2.1.

Why my xbox one s can't show 4K resonance

The HDMI cable included with the Xbox One S is HDMI 2.0a. Be sure to give that cable a shot, and if the issue continues, please be sure to post back with the rest of the information requested in my post above so we can narrow this issue down! :)
