Xbox One S HDD not working

Hello,

so I opened it and took out the HDD, I plugged it in my desktop PC, it is not recognized, it is slowing down the startup of the pc, at the bios level, it takes more time to scan the IDE devices, etc...but eventually, windows starts, but xbox HDD is not visible (in windows disk management or crystal disk info). any recommendation?

There is only one official HDD for the Xbox 360 S, and that's the 250 GB HDD. If you have an official drive and your console is not modified, those games will work.

as for understanding, well, it is quite annoying that this HDD died after few yrs...so not really, I don't consider buying a new console...better get pc games then

Just solved it, although on my computer the HDD case works just fine, on xbox it didn´t, I took my wife´s hdd case, and use it, it works smootlhy.
