Xbox one s has weird graphical issues on the screen.

So basically I had this weird issue last week where the screen became blue when I started up red dead redemption 2. I thought the game had glitched but I tried another game and the problem persisted. I restarted the console and that fixed the problem.

This time the problem has persisted through restarts, hdmi cable changes and tv changes. This is what the problem looks like at this

Hey there, Xbox One S has got very good 4k upscaled graphics, while the X is true 4k graphics. For now, I've got the Xbox One S, and that works a charm. It is really just up to you, you can either spend a little more for true 4k which you can use on a
4K TV in the future as well, or you can go with the Xbox One S. You're current TV can support Xbox One/S/X, although an FHD screen, it will look a lot clearer with the S or X.

My kid turned my xbox one off and on a lot and now the graphics for the games and apps don't work. Any one know how to fix this? Picture below

Have you tried
power cycle or hard restart your console? In the vast majority of the cases this solves the issues. Let us know!

 

I have done that. fault still there.

 

Try clearing cache. Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out.
Then wait another 30 and turn it on again.
After trying this, reinstall the game.
It may work for you .

 

Try unplugging it for at least 5 minutes.

 

this did not fix the problem. it may be a temporary fix but it returns after a while.

factory reset while keeping games and apps downloaded. This reset will allow the OS to reset, while not having to redownload all of your games and apps.

Make sure you know your log in credentials to your Gamertag before resetting the console. You will have to re-sign into the profiles you want on the console.

hello, thank you this worked, for a while. roughly two hours after I did this it happened again but only for 5 minutes. I'm not sure how to recreate this fault either so its very difficult to diagnose.
