    Xbox One S has stopped working


    We bought our children an Xbox One S for Christmas 2016. It worked well up until about March this year at which point it became very slow and unresponsive. I reset the console but it this did not resolve the issues and it just became slower and slower
    and now has stopped working altogether. I have tried all of the recommended advice on the Microsoft site, (taking the power lead out, performing a hard reset, checking the HDMI connection etc), but nothing has worked and although the light on the power button comes
    on (and bleeps), nothing else happens. This is the first Xbox we have bought, and on this showing I would not consider buying another one.

    Why can't my Xbox One S wireless controller detect headsets?

    I bought my Xbox one S Wireless Controller in August 2018, and the 3.5mm headphone jack has been working fine. Then, yesterday it just stopped working completely. Can someone help me?

    I just got a Xbox One S a week ago and the 3.5mm audio was working just fine up until Friday when it stopped working. What can/should I do?

    It somewhat helps... i guess the million dollar questions will be: “if it works works on the xbox one (original) but doesnt work with the xbox one s/x, can i assume that this is a firmware item? If so is it a matter of time till the original xbox one stops
    working or perhaps an update for the one s/x that will fix the issue?

    Try to unplug everything and wait 30 sec if that don't work hold the power button than that it should work if not content xbox for more help

    are you sure you don't have an Xbox one S and not an Xbox series S?

    If it has a disk Drive, it's a one S and it will not work
