    TL;DR: HDMI port on the xbox seems to have gone bad.

    It was working fine until a couple of weeks ago with resolution 1080p.

    Now the screen is either blank or keeps fluctuating (turns on and off ever 5 seconds). The resolution when on is 680p at best. I have tried all the resolutions in the support site with no luck. The port on the TV and the HDMI cable is fine.

    But given the screen fluctuates I am sure the problem is on the console's hardware.

    No phone number mentioned in the global customer care is useful as ultimately the bot says support unavailable. When I try to raise a request online I get this error
    "We’re sorry. The accessory or device you are requesting is not available. Please contact Microsoft Support for assistance."

    Makes no sense given that I am already on the support site and no phone number is useful. I have a half mind to go to consumer court with this. But if someone else in India has hit this issue and gotten it resolved, please help me.

    The last selection in the link I provided is REQUEST A REPAIR, (which will also be same as link provided by GameisSucky)if your console is under warranty, or even if it's not, you can register.for a repair.

    Does it not appear?

    What is your geographical location?

    I have a strong feeling that microsoft has ditched the support in India.

    Basically, I'm having the same problem. Console worked fine. Then all of a sudden the picture would not show up. I wiggled the HDMI cord and got the picture to come up, but it was fluttering. Then it just stopped. The picture that is. The console turns
    on it just will not display a picture. I'm really getting irritated with this problem.
