    When playing my xbox one s on a 32" 1080p bush t.v. the graphics looked fine not amazing but it wasn't a top range tv. I recently brought a new sony 55" 4k tv with all the top specs and the picture quality especially on modern warfare warzone has become
    rubbish, is so pixolated and looks like I'm playing on a original xbox from like 2001. Edges of all surfaces are all jagged and smoke coming out of one of the buildings chimneys is actually so pixolated you can see the squares. I've looked around the net for
    answers but can't seem to find a solution other than just buy an Xbox one x, but surley there must be a better answer. If a significantly cheaper and poorer quality t.v. can run the game without doing this then why is this happening on a new 4k sony that is
    a 2019 model. All I can guess is that my tv is stretching the picture because it is 4k but then wouldn't everyone be having this same issue. If anyone could help that would be great. Oh and I have tried numerous settings on the tv and xbox that I have seen
    on other forums non of which have changed anything.

    Hey there, Xbox One S has got very good 4k upscaled graphics, while the X is true 4k graphics. For now, I've got the Xbox One S, and that works a charm. It is really just up to you, you can either spend a little more for true 4k which you can use on a
    4K TV in the future as well, or you can go with the Xbox One S. You're current TV can support Xbox One/S/X, although an FHD screen, it will look a lot clearer with the S or X.

    I also had a Xbox One (the Day One edition) with Kinect.

    I skipped the Xbox One S, as I mainly play games on the console, and the "upgrade" to 4K video content wasn't enough, as I didn't own a 4K TV. And since they already announced the Xbox One X (back then codenamed Project Scorpio) that promised more graphical
    fidelity, I waited for that.

    So, I bought the Xbox One X in November 2017. Even if you don't have a 4K TV (yet), the downsampling the Xbox One X does, improves the graphics even on 1080p devices.

    If you have the chance to try a Xbox One X at a friends house, or maybe in a store, there is a free demo app called "Insects" where you can toggle 4K, HDR and spatial surround on and off (in case the TV supports 4K and HDR). If the TV is "only" a 1080p TV,
    you can still toggle 4K to see the difference in clarity and sharpness between the 1080p rendered graphics and the 4K downsampled graphics.

    And for me, the graphical difference was worth the upgrade to the Xbox One X.

    Also, since you say you plan to get a 4K TV, you should get the One X, as the One S only supports 4K video from UHD BluRays or Streaming services like Netflix or Amazon. The One S does not support 4K gaming.

    Be aware however, that Microsoft doesn't produce the Kinect Adapter any more, as the X and S models don't have the dedicated Kinect port anymore. So your only option to use Kinect on the X or S, is to buy such an adapter used from eBay or the likes.

    If you want a console for 4k gaming on a 4k tv then the xbox one x is your best bet as it will allow you too do this too its full potential. Unlike the xbox one s, it will provide you with better graphics and a better gaming experience.

    ive tried my Xbox One S and Xbox One X on a 4k tv while playing Sea of thieves.

    Must say the One X made a major upgrade in graphics thanks to enhanced HDR

    I bought an S about a year ago and it was cheaper than a used original Xbox One. The graphics are better if you have a 4K tv, otherwise it is not worth the difference in price.
