xbox one s goes crazy

I have this issue since two weeks ago, the thing is that when i try to play or just leave the xbox turned on,the home menu starts to scroll by itself,switching options like if i pressed a botton and after a while it shuts down, no matter if there's a controller
connected or not, i have tried the hard reset, updating the controller, manually update the xbox and nothing seems to work. I need help with this, i cannot play anymore

It seems that you will have to send it to technical support in your state or country, or also with a third party who can repair it, although this means is not very trustworthy.

Is it possible someone is controlling your Xbox One console using their phone's Xbox App? You'll want to check your settings for what connections you allow to your Xbox One from phone Xbox Apps. Starting at your Xbox One dashboard:

Open the Guide Menu
Scroll down to Settings
Select All Settings
Scroll down to Preferences
Select Xbox app connections

Ensure that you have the desired restrictions in place.

Fyi the xbox series s/x has no one in it

This is to reduce the confusion between series s/x and one when it comes to.compatibility

Only the xbox one s all digital is the only xbox one that isn't compatible with discs

However there is no limitation as far as xbox one other then the digital only console as far as xbox one games goes

Vs the series x /s they are backward with xbox one and with the series s limitation as far as discs goes

Thanks for the response and confirmation.

He has a Xbox One at this Mams and a Xbox One S with me - both connected to the one Xbox Live account (mine). The Xbox One S will be replaced with the new Xbox Series X. He would find it odd if the days leading up to Xmas he was unable to use his current Xbox One S... and drive me crazy.
