    XBox One S (Gears) turned on yesterday and no pic, now no HDR or 4K


    Got my brand new XBox One S Gears War edition on Friday, set-up and worked fine all weekend playing Forza Horizon 3 as well as Gears 4. Watch 4k HDR movies with the family and everything worked and looked great. Last night I went to turn on and nothing,
    just a black screen. I tried different hdmi's cable in my HDMI ARC input and then tried other inputs. I then held the power button for 10 seconds and the picture came back when plug into another HDMI input (non-ARC), but it would not recognize the tv was a
    4k and wouldnt recognize HDR. So, I did a reset of the console keeping games and apps as well as a reset of my tv to be safe. HDMI (ARC) input worked again as the others. The Xbox automatically detected HDR and 4K in its settings, but then when I went into
    Gears (same thing with a 4K movie) the HDR was not being detected anymore and on the movie it was only playing in 1080p.

    I did notice there was an XBox update last night right before I turned on my XBox, which is the only different I noticed from the weekend.

    Can anyone help?

    Xbox One X Display Settings related to potential bandwidth limitations.

    There's no official support documentation specifically about the Xbox One X yet.

    However, I'd imagine it will at least have the same support for 4K+HDR carried over from the Xbox One S, the specifications and troubleshooting of which can be found below.

    I read that the Xbox One S will support HDR gameplay, but not 4k. 4k is reserved for Blu-ray playback and Netflix streaming, etc., but it WILL support HDR gameplay. I also read that Xbox One games will have to "be in HDR format" for example, the new gears
    of war. I just don't know what I should do here!

    Error (91d70000) is in regards to, "4K is supported by your TV, but not at 60Hz. You won't be able to upscale to 4K, but, depending on your TV, you may still be able to play some 4K and HDR content. To see what your TV supports, choose 4K TV details."
