Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Edition Controller Issue

i bought the gears 4 limited edition console on release and decided not to use the new controller just yet since my current controller wasnt too old yet, then a few days ago i decided to take it out of the box and start using it and i ended up finding out
that out of the box it had both left and right stick drifting while i was playing rainow six seige. i went back to gamestop and exchanged it for a brand new gears 4 controller and found out it had stick drift for the right stick right out of the box as well.
this is a bit ridiculous, i paid almost $500 for the console and the controller design seems to be defective...what a waste of money. I just tested it out and the stick drift only occurs when i lower the stick dead zones in the game from the default 10%
to 5%, but none of my old controllers have this issue. i contacted microsoft and they just told me to go back to gamestop and get it exchanged again, this is a bit ridiculous, if the next one has the same issues i definitely think microsoft needs to redo
the controller design again or something. anyone got any idea what i should do about this?

Bought the gears of War edition xbox one s. Came with gears of War 4 ultimate edition. Never did recieve my codes for gears of War collection.
