Xbox One 'S' - Games not working/starting

Hello guys,

I have the following problem:

My Xbox One 'S' won't start my Games anymore...

If I tap on any game the "Start-Screenshot" appears and then the window swipes to the bottom and I'm back at the dashboard.

I think it worked well until the last update came out.

I've tried nearly anything to fix that problem, but nothing works...

I hope you can help me with this, thanks in advance!

Cannot start a party and cloud saves will not sync on any game.

I have an Xbox one S and and Xbox one X and starting yesterday I could not sync any of my games or start party chat on either console, I factory reset the S and it still isn't working. The S after re-downloading my profile can't show my gamerpic and my gamerscore
is at 0. Can someone please tell me what is happening, I have quite a few games on the system and would like to be able to enjoy them, but it seems like nothing I do fixes it.

 

Xbox one s not starting

I'm having a problem with my 15 month old xbox one s. It won't even light up. Did the restart procedures as advised but didn't work. I see that it's a common problem. My xbox 360 is still working after 5 years. This is so disappointing.

Sorry to hear about the issue. I'd like to collect a bit more information. Which games are you experiencing this issue with? When you start a game and it fails to open/load, does it give you an error code/message? If so, could you provide that information
to us?

If you haven't yet, let's have you try to
Power Cycle your Xbox One console to see if that resolves your issue. If it doesn't, the next step I would recommend is

Uninstalling the content, power cycling your Xbox One, and then reinstalling it to see if the issue persist.

It happens with every game and it makes no difference if the game is on a disc or digital.

And I don't get any error code, the game screen just "swipes" to the bottom and I'm back at the dashboard.

I already made a Power Cycle twice or even more by now but it doesn't change anything.

Even an Factory Reset wasn't successful.

 

Hey Timotheus 00T,

When you mentioned trying a
Factory Restore on your Xbox One, did you select Reset and remove everything? If not, please go ahead and try that option. In addition, it won't hurt to try plugging your Xbox One S directly into the wall outlet if you happen to be plugged into a
power strip/surge protector.
