    Hello Microsoft Community,

    I am undergoing an issue with my xbox one s console.

    I can install and begin to load games (fortnite and plants vs zombies battle for neighbourville) but when these games load up. (Press A to connect to servers) the game pauses for a moment on the screen and then just black screens.

    I have tried many solutions including the hard reset, factory reset, reset mac address, reinstalling games and changing location.

    From my scouring over the Internet not a single solution worked for me. If anyone has any solutions I can try please let me know.

    Because you dont have a series s

    Flight sim 2021 is only series and pc compatible

    Xbox one s would choke just loading the loading screen.

    Why in heaven's name would you think 10 year old hardware run a game that makes 3-5 year old pcs have trouble runnung

    Just a fyi the s/x means the series x and s not xbox one

    The xbox one games all work on the xbox one regardless of letter

    Not to mention all xbox one games are compatible with xbox one games there is no s or x designation for requirements on xbox one

    I have a SSD in my Xbox One S currently. Would the upgrade to Xbox One X still make games load faster?

    Copy games/savegames to Series S

    One thing I personally cannot say for certain is if those games loading from the external hard drive will run the same way they would if they were installed straight onto the console...
    If you load games on the Series X or S from an external hard drive they will load the same as they do on a regular Xbox One. There won't be any performance issues. Games installed on a external SSD (SATA SSD not the Expansion Card) will load faster then
    they would before due to the much faster I/O on the Series X/S.

    If you move your games to either the internal storage or the optional Expansion card, you will see significant loading speed improvements. They'll be massive on a game such as Odyssey. Fast traveling in 5 seconds rather than 40 on a regular Xbox One or One
    X!

    To use the Series X/S 'Quick Resume' on Xbox One or other BC games will require said games to be installed internally or to the Expansion Card. Series X/S games can only be installed on the Internal or Expansion card.

    If you're talking about the time it takes to transition from the outside to go through a door? If you are, this is normal on the Xbox One version as the next section of the game has to load in. Unfortunately, loading is a lot, lot slower on the old Xbox One S console.
