Xbox One S game installing issues.

I have an older Xbox One S, and, even after replacing the disc drive, most games i try to install fail at anywhere from 10% to as much as 90% installed. My question is, would a failing HDD cause this issue? If so, which would be the better option, get another One S, since i need a disc drive, or, have mine repaired? The only issue with having it repaired, my local Best Buy told me they dont repair the One S anymore, and, i havent found anyone so far that i can get an answer as to whether they can replace the HDD or not, and, from reports online, if i do it myself, Microsoft will ban my account (which, by the way, i think is just dumb). Before it is mentioned, no, i dont have another console to try the games on.

Actually, we do not suggest anything related to replacing some parts inside the console because we only provide basic troubleshooting steps.

When there is already an issue with the console's hardware, we usually just suggest having it serviced or repaired. Repairing it yourself does not really ban your account unless there are mod's being placed but that will be too risky.

Since you cannot find someone that can repair this for you and if it is already out of warranty, I suggest maybe taking it in for a trade in if there are stores that has that option.

I'm afraid the answer is simple, you can Not install a disc based game on a Xbox One S Digital, the Xbox One S Digital only supports games downloaded from the Xbox Store online, this means that you can only install digitally purchased games and apps on the
Xbox One S Digital
