    Xbox One S Game DVR and Settings app Crash Issue, Extremely Annoying


    This issue is beginning to really annoy me and i'm considering punching my Xbox to pieces, seriously one little issue that causes tremendous damage to me. For some stupid reason my Xbox One S cannot keep Game DVR activated when I turn it off using Instant-On,
    I leave it off but with little operation to it over night every night with exceptions and every time I wake up to turn my console on I find that when I want to record something none of the options to save pop up, I can't press the buttons like indicated when
    working because it doesn't do anything, and when I go into the Settings app I find that Game DVR is still active on my machine, so like anyone else really I re-activate the option but it crashes the Settings app, every time this happens. When the bloomin Settings
    app crashes you know this is an issue that NEEDS to be addressed, my friend when he had an Xbox One S did the same thing too. I have tried clearing cache to find no better results apart from other bugs being fixed, the only way to fix this bug is to turn off
    the console the power saving way then back on again and it will be fine until I turn it off with Instant-On then on, this is ridiculous, I enjoy saving gameplay clips so that I can one day refresh myself with old clips of me playing classic games but this
    bug makes me want to hate doing this more and more every time it happens. An update to fix and demolish bugs like this forever is the greatest option, i'm not asking for much, just no more annoying Game DVR issues, seriously how did you miss this.

    Game DVR has been working well, love it. But I did newest updates for windows and trimed one video and it makes app crash now every time I open DVR section. APP will open fine but once DVR section is selected it crashes and closes. It opened fine the first

    Hello, I'm unable to upload and share edited Game DVR clips in the Xbox App on Windows 10 to Xbox Live. App crashes each time 99 % of the clip is uploaded.

    One Xbox One S and X. Max record time in DVR is 5 minutes with the resolution at 720p. On Xbox One. The DVR max is 15 minutes at 720p. All these settings are found under the Broadcasting and Capture section in Preferences in the settings. Although. That
    is odd that the S and X have a shorter time.

    Having the exact same issue. I need to get into the file to mess with the .int settings. My game crashes to the desktop after about 10 mins of play. Its the only game I'm having an issue with and its really annoying.
    Same problems here... Crashes and never saves my settings or game. Annoying!!!!

    Sounds like the issue comes from the DVR portion of the app. Try the steps on the

    game DVR on Xbox app     page on our website and let us know if the issue persists!

    Click on the Game DVR tab

    Switch Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR to the Off position

    I have tried the troubleshooting steps in the link provided. I've tried quiting apps, removing apps, resetting the Xbox, resetting to Factory settings. I'm currently in the process now of moving all games & apps to my external hard drive however that too
    keeps crashing so I'm not having much luck with that (should I need to get a new Xbox one S) it appears to be an issue with the Console itself rather than an individual game or app.
