Xbox One S game disc identification?

Hello, this is my first question here.

I am aware that the game disc is the "license" for the game.

The Minecraft game disc, that came with my Xbox One S system, was misplaced at a friend's house. He had two systems and two game discs. He is afraid that when he gave away one system, my game disc may have been taken too.

He is giving me one of the game discs he has.

My question is, since the game disc is the "license", is it specific to one disc? Can the system identify between two discs?

Will I have to register this disc as well?

Or does the system not know the difference between several discs? And I couldn't identify my old disc unless I physically marked the disc? (Which I didn't)

I hope the question is clear and I can get an answer.

All disc copies are identical. There is no way to identify them as they come from the factory.

Don't worry, the disc is only the key to access the installed game. it doesn't happen if you lend, give away, or have a game used by someone else on a different Xbox ONE console.

The disk is only the key that the system identifies. It doesn't matter if it's yours or a friend's ok.
