    Xbox One S Frozen with Offline Update


    After attempting to install Fortnite on an XBox One S, the console froze up entirely. After trying to restart several times, and then attempting an offline update ($SystemUpdate) the console continues to freeze up after getting to about 75% complete.
    Trying to reset the entire console back to it's default settings was unsuccessful. Our last attempt was to wire the unit directly to the router but even that didn't work. Has anyone been able to resolve an issue like this without having to get the console
    serviced? I've tried numerous things to no avail.

    That's not possible. The firmware does not start the xbox navigation. The options I have are restart, reset defaults, offline update and turn off.

    This has happended before where everyone's console had the black screen before and that was because there was a server error, more likely this is a server error to back in April 6th. It should be fine now!
