    Xbox one S flickering screen


    I turned on my xbox and everything was fine. I then loaded up THPS 1+2 and my screen began to flicker. The screen isn't going black but there is a bright light flicker in the background of the screen. I went back to the dashboard and it was still there.
    I then did hard resets, switched hdmi cables and switched hdmi ports and it is still there. I know it is not a problem with my tv because it is only happening on my xbox. When i go to my tv's youtube app or something like that the flicker stops. Has anyone
    had this happen to them before. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    You talk about going black but have flickering on Topic.

    There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago
    The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
    my problem.

    If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

    Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.

    I have the same issue. It is really noticeable in Destiny when in your inventory menu. If I do a hard reset it may go away. Sometimes not & always comes back...
