    XBox One S Fifa 2017 promotion code not working


    I bought a Xbox One S bundle that came with FIFA 2017, an extra game, and a $25 gift code. I got the code by email today. It's a 9 digit code.

    But it seems that only 25 digit codes are allowed in the Microsoft store. I'm wanting to buy a game with the code, but it won't let me. I enter the numbers, and the "redeem" button stays greyed out and unusable.

    I have no idea how to redeem or use the code I got in the email.

    The code is for use on microsoftstore.com, not through Xbox. You would have to make a purchase on that website and you would enter the 9 digit code during checkout.

    If your game code only says it is for Series X|S then it will not work on an Xbox One X. The One X was the revised Xbox One hardware released in 2017, it's not the same as a Series X.
