Xbox one S faulty controller

I brought an xbox one s about 3 weeks ago, the controller was working fine until about a week ago when the battery pack stopped working, any batteries I put in do not work in the remote no matter if they are fully charged or not.

This is absurd as I have done nothing to the controller for this is happen could someone please assist me.

Also if possible could I receive a call from xbox to talk this matter through and another problem I had today with the xbox live support

Xbox One elite controller problem with play and charge kit

Hey.

My new Xbox One elite controller is using play and chrage kit for battery. My problem is that with the elite controller, I only get 8hrs or less play time, when it should be close to 30 hrs.

I do not have similar problems with my Xbox one S- controller, that is using the same play and charge kit.

Do I have faulty controller? How to test if it works like it should?

Faulty Xbox One Controller

Hi everyone!

I am scheduling a replacement controller for tomorrow, just wanted a hands up for anyone who has experienced a similar issue to mine, with an Xbox One controller:

- Playing a game, LB bumper stops working

- Go "home" to be Immediately put on the "pins" section of the home screen

- Try to click/stroke "right" button on DPAD and thumb stick, but the cursor keeps throwing me back to the left hand side of the screen

- Try to turn the controller off via holding down "home"; but my controller won't let me press "A" to select anything

My controller seems bricked. I cannot access anything. Xbox Support have diagnosed a controller fault, over a console fault, due to the fact that the console can be navigated via Xbox Media remote.

Again, has anyone experienced something like this?

Hi Microsoft Agent,

I'm having the same problem, we have an Xbox one S, we have now purchased 2 headsets thinking the first was faulty. Both headsets work on a friends xbox. We then purchased a new controller believing ours was faulty, but still no joy. We are using Xbox One
Wireless Controller 3.5mm white. We have borrowed a friends controller and the headsets work straight away on our box.

Just tested two other controllers still very poor signal. Conclusion or my console i faulty or xbox one have s..t signal range overall which would not be very good news

Yesterday I purchased a Play and Charge Kit, the doco mentioned a LED on the controller Connection. When I plug it into the Front port of the XBOX One S it flashes once orange and goes out. The controller does vibrate. I presumed the was a fault,
so I took it back to the store, along with my controller, as soon as they plugged it into their XBOX One s It worked fine. I Took it back home and same issue.

As the Controller and Charge pack work fine on another XBOX One S, do I have a faulty unit ????

• Try a different cable

• Plug the cable into the back of the xbox

• Check the usb port on the xbox and see if another controller will work with same setup

You can go online to account.microsoft.com/devices to see if you have the option there to set up a repair as long as the controller is still in warranty. You can also contact Xbox support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX for assistance. Please keep in mind depending on
your region, most accessories only have a 90 days warranty.
