Xbox One S e102 10010c02 8b060007 Not letting me update offline

As the subject says, I am getting this error e102 10010c02 8b060007 which supposedly the solution is to update offline. I have my clean NTFS formatted USB stick which I have successfully copied the $SystemUpdate folder onto. There are no files in the root
of the USB other than that one folder.

On the Xbox One S I unplug the power and network cable, after 30 secs of being off I plug in the power, I insert the USB stick, I hold down Eject and Bind then tap the power key. I get 2 startup chimes and then I let go of the Bind and Eject keys. "Offline
System Update" is greyed out and doesn't let me press it.

I have tried variations of the above in all 3 USB ports, I have tried holding the Eject and Power all the way until I see the menu appear.

What am I missing please?

Since the last preview build, when turning the console on it comes up with "something went wrong", error code, E102 10010c02 8b060007.

Unable to reset to default, unable to offline update, i have an expensive paper weight

Sounds like you've gone through the right steps for attempting to offline update to your Xbox One S console, for sure. Normally, when a console is refusing to initialize the offline update, or update repair, it might be time to look into service for the
device. But for reference, have you been through the steps listed on this page when attempting this solution. just to be sure?

It started with an E105 error, I didn't write down the rest of the code. But it quickly changed to E102 10010C02 8B060007. And today when I tried the usb method (offline update) the error code changed to E101 00000503 8B060007.

Thanks for this, tried it all, nothing. Microsoft has said they would reply within 24hrs, and this is a known problem by them!
